Cisco® Certified Entry Network Technician (ICND1 Exam)GlobalNet's CCENT Course is the answer for inexperienced people wanting a more user-friendly way to break into the internetworking profession. This Cisco® authorized course is delivered by Suggested Course Track: Course includes a guest lecture by best selling author, Todd Lammle! Overview On June 25, 2007, Cisco® announced a revision to the CCNA and the introduction of a brand-new entry level certification. GlobalNet Training is currently delivering a 5-Day CCENT course complete with Todd Lammle curriculum, the same equipment topology as our highly respected CCNA courses, exam voucher, and onsite testing. Cisco® Certified Entry Network Technician The highly respected CCNA certification is the industry standard for networking professionals, yet is an awfully big step and commitment for some. Professionals in entry level positions don't develop the skills to pass CCNA for several years, thus creating an opportunity for Cisco to introduce a certification designed specifically for those with less than three years of networking job experience. Research also confirmed interest among employers for a certification covering entry level IT skills, reducing the risk inherent in hiring employees with little or no previous networking experience. The new Cisco® Certified Entry Network Technician (CCENT) certification is a terrific introduction — it's the answer for inexperienced people who want a much more user-friendly way to break into the internetworking profession. GlobalNet's CCENT instructor-led course now includes a current lab topology to assist you with the Cisco® intensive simulation exam. Our repetitive hands-on labs feature individual student pods with Cisco® high-end Catalyst switches. GlobalNet's 5-day CCENT boot camp will provide you with everything you need to be successful in a Cisco routing and switching environment and to pass the new Cisco Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices Part 1 (ICND1) certification exam. We do not rely on outdated third party test preparation material or courseware. We have been writing our own curriculum since our company began delivering boot camps in 1997. Your instructor wrote the material used in class and updates it before each course. GlobalNet's CCENT course offers high levels of classroom participation, interaction and collaboration:

No sharing equipment! Plus, GlobalNet Training offers more lab time than any of our competitors with over 35 labs! We encourage students to bring their own laptops to take full advantage of our labs after class each day.

CCENT certification is the first step toward achieving CCNA, which covers medium size enterprise branch networks with more complex connections.
