Overview

Cisco Systems® has a leading position in IP Telephony solutions, owning over 40% of the market. Their solutions are providing Fortune 1000 companies scalable and cost effective unified communication options which reduce costs while providing enhanced services. The challenge is that deploying this technology is NOT easy. It requires skills to plan and design the solution and experience to implement and operate the products that make up the solution.

GlobalNet Training's 12-day CCVP boot camp gives students the necessary skills and knowledge needed to plan, design, implement and operate a Cisco® Call Manager IPT solution. During this course, students gain 24/7 access to their own pod of the latest Cisco IP telephony equipment listed in detail on the following page.

As with all GlobalNet Training courses, there is no equipment sharing. GlobalNet Training's CCVP students are able to gain a unique perspective, because our instructors have worked directly with Nortel and Avaya equipment as well as the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Voice over Internet Protocol which enables the Cisco IP Communications system to conform to the interoperability, reliability, and resiliency requirements of DoD's multi-vendor voice network.

GlobalNet Training's CCVP course is arranged to follow the Cisco PDIO (Plan, Design, Implement, and Operation) model. By overlapping and duplicating content, this course provides a more thorough understanding of the material and helps to ensure that students will retain more information. The following five courses are covered in this Cisco IP Telephony boot camp:

  • Cisco Voice Over IP
  • Quality of Service
  • Cisco IP Telephony 1 & 2
  • IP Telephony Troubleshooting

This is not your standard certification boot camp. Students will work with hands-on equipment. This course ensures students will graduate with the knowledge to pass these critical IPT Certification exams and the skill to deploy solutions.

What sets us apart:

  • Our dedicated team of instructors has been teaching the CCVP Certification course for GlobalNet Training since the certification’s inception in June 2005.  Each team member possesses a unique skill set including implementation, configuration, troubleshooting, and test preparation.
  • Students DO NOT share equipment in our course.  With 24/7 access to the equipment, the individual can maximize lab time after hours to practice the complicated Call Manager configurations.
  • All exams are completed on site.  See exam list and course breakdown for testing days and exam numbers.
