Course Description

5-Day Course Description Cisco® CCENT 100–101

Todd Lammle Newest Authorized Cisco® CCENT Bootcamp (exam 100–101) is now available, delivered by CCSI instructor Todd Lammle.

In March, 2013, Cisco® announced a revision to the existing CCNA and the introduction of a brand-new CCNA Routing and Switching (R/S) certification, as well as the CCENT being a pre-requisite for achieving other Cisco® certification, such as Voice and Wireless. GlobalNet Training is now delivering a brand new 5-Day CCENT course complete with Todd Lammle curriculum, a brand new, state-of-the-art equipment topology, exam voucher, and onsite testing.

Cisco® Certified Entry Network Technician (CCENT Test 100–101)

The new Cisco® Certified Entry Network Technician (CCENT) certification is not as easy as it sounds, nor is it close to the older pre-2013 tests – this new exam is 100% harder. The new CCENT at GlobalNet Training is a whole new course and exam, and Todd Lammle has everything you need to be successful and learn the foundation of the objectives. This course is not an exam cram, but a full course based on Todd Lammle’s past successes in classes that he’s held for more than a decade. Lecture, hands-on labs, troubleshooting labs, written labs, and reading are all used to build a strong foundation that you need to be successful in the class, the exam and in your career. Our repetitive hands-on labs feature individual student pods with Cisco® high-end ISR routers and Catalyst switches.

GlobalNet’s 5-day, 12-hours long, CCENT boot camp will provide you with everything you need to be successful in a Cisco® routing and switching environment and to pass the new Cisco® Interconnecting Cisco® Networking Devices Part 1 (ICND1) test 100–101) certification exam.

We do not rely on outdated third party test preparation material or courseware. We have been writing our own curriculum since our company began delivering boot camps in 1997. Todd Lammle wrote the material used in class and updates it before each course, and of course we use Todd Lammle’s Sybex Study Guides in class!

    Prerequisites

Mandatory Network+ current certification is required in order to obtain the GlobalNet Training class guarantee. Equivalent job experience can be used in place of the Network+ certification.

It is important to understand that even though the name has “Entry” in the title, this is not an entry level course or certification. If you have little or no experience you need to work on your Network+ certification before attending the CCENT class.

The 100–101 Interconnecting Cisco® Networking Devices Part 1 (ICND1) exam is the exam associated with the Cisco® Certified Entry Network Technician (CCENT) certification and is a tangible first step in achieving an Associate-level certification Candidates can prepare for this exam by taking the GlobalNet Training 5-day Interconnecting Cisco® Networking Devices Part 1 (ICND1) v2.0 course. This exam tests a candidate’s knowledge and skills required to successfully install, operate, and troubleshoot a small branch office network.
