SCNP Training Boot CampSecurity Certified Network Professional (SCNP)
Suggested Course Track:
The Security Certified Network Professional (SCNP) is the second certification on the SCP track. The Strategic Infrastructure Security (SIS) course is designed to follow the hands-on skills utilized in the Tactical Perimeter Defense (TPD) course. The SIS course continues with hardening of strategic elements of your infrastructure, such as your Windows and Linux servers, and goes into detail on one of the most critical areas to understand in security, Cryptography. The SCNP certification validates the IT professional’s knowledge and skills to design, configure, and implement basic concepts of higher level network security skills. SCNP certification encompasses the education and training covered in both the Tactical Perimeter Defense and Strategic Infrastructure Security courses. Authorized training will cover a variety of concepts and skills related to hacking techniques, risk analysis and contingency planning, packet analysis, hardening Windows and LINUX systems, and cryptography. SCNP is an approved certification for the Department of Defense-Directive 8570.01 Tech Level 2. Over the five days of the SCNP course, candidates learn the required elements of securing a network, such as securing Windows and Linux systems. The current lessons and detailed hands-on labs in the SCNP courseware bring a high level of security skills to the candidates.
